As you progress, you can upgrade operations to increase production speed and output, automate tasks by hiring specialized crew chiefs, and unlock enhancements called Retrofits to boost efficiency and rewards. The game features a cyclical progression system allowing you to reset your industry through Reclamation, earning Reactor Cores that unlock permanent bonuses to strengthen future efforts. Combining elements of idle gameplay and resource management, Ashfall Industries offers a paced experience where careful planning and upgrades gradually expand your industrial empire in a unique comic atompunk world.

1. Buy an operation and click its Run button to begin producing Scrap.
2. Spend Scrap to level up operations, unlock more businesses, and improve your income.
3. Hire Crew Chiefs to automate production cycles.
4. Purchase Retrofits and collect Lucky Finds to accelerate your growth.
5. Use Reclamation when you are ready to earn Reactor Cores and rebuild faster.
